based in the geographical center of Europe: Leipzig, Germany.
The founders of FABINET - Ross Shakin and Ralf Becher - have
been working together for over two years on the concept for the
site and are well-regarded as creative entrepreneurs and technologists.
Fabinet promotes a wide range of ideas and expressions in the
form of digital content.
Everything you will find in the FABINET space is dedicated
to your business and the concerns of your future projects.
Anyone who has ever had to deal with the issue of claiming
intellectual property rights or has gone as far as pitching and
trying to generate an interest in his or her ideas knows how
complicated and dangerous this undertaking can be. Often, a
concept is pitched to a roomful of strangers - the potential
for theft is great. And, the tedious work of rewriting and
updating scripts is always behind the real-time demand of
these adjustments.
This is why we are pleased to now open this platform for
film and video professionals. This space is for all those who
want to promote their ideas. Are you tired of the lonely quest

Here, you are given the opportunity to post samples of your work

creator and author. The moment your work appears on FABINET, you
will receive a written confirmation that your concept has been
posted. All submissions will be securely registered and will
stay online as long as you desire. FABINET makes all these

Ross Shakin
Over the last 12 years, Mr. Shakin pursued a career of the filmmaker.
His works were trimmed by experiences of working as an editor, DOP
and director and education as a director for stage performances.
In 1998 Ross graduated from New York University, Department of
Culture and Communication. That was a turn point when he changed
the gears and switched the career of the classic stage director to
a complex field of video and film production.
Four years ago he moved to Germany to discover the wide range of cultural and professional
experiences. FABINET has a very special meaning to him. As a founder
of the FABINET he stand on the side of all of those who struggle to
get their voices heard and their projects unveiled.
Ralf Becher
Since nearly two decades Mr. Becher is working as an IT professional. Starting
as a software developer in 1989 he evolved up to now to a consultant and project manager for different industries.
He also worked and performed as a semi-professional musician for many years which results into
several interesting tracks and compositions.
After many years of work in IT business and the founding of two IT companies
his focus turns to the current Web 2.0 and collaboration realm.
During the dotcom-crash in 2000 with the falling of the so-called
new-economy-heroes he gathers experiences in the web realm. This project is a real challenge to him and the FABINET team.
As a Founder of FABINET he stands for the technically realization of this
ambitious project and is open for any suggestions, hints and new ideas in this field.
